For four star American, try Bluehour in Portland. Here's a place to get good food. Located in the Pearl District neighborhood, this restaurant is mildly expensive. This place features outdoor dining. Upon entering the restaurant, you'll find an elegant atmosphere. This place features private rooms, a full bar, and fine wines. This restaurant is open late and good for groups.
The restaurant's voluminous urban space features soaring ceilings, warmed by gold and blue light, flowing floor-to-ceiling slate gray curtains and relaxing mood music. Stylish patrons dine in the...

5 of 5 Stars. M?nage a Foie started us off wonderfully with three sublime presentations on the same plate; terrine, brandy mousse, and seared. The accompaniments were pear butter, jellied cherries, and pistachios, all three interchangeable with the three foie preparations. Diver scallops with fried caper berries and a lovely white sauce followed, cooked perfectly, iridescent in the middle. The hand-made truffle gnocchi were aromatic, delicate, and delightful, almost melting on our tongues. The troll king salmon was wasabi-encrusted and served with cucumber and sauce for perfect balance of hot and cool. Like the scallops, it was perfectly cooked and had just a touch of iridescent center. The artisan cheeses finished us off, along with a nice sauterne. We loved our service, the food and the wines. Our biggest disappointment was having no room left for dessert. This place is a "not-to-miss".
